At least 35 passengers were injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch following a collision with another bus in Kalukhali upazila of Rajbari district. The accident occurred on the Rajbari-Kushtia regional highway on Tuesday afternoon. Police and local residents quickly responded, rescuing the injured and sending them to Rajbari and Kalukhali hospitals for treatment. According to Sub-Inspector Sajjad Hossain of Pangsha Highway Police Station, no fatalities were reported, though several passengers sustained serious injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and have urged drivers to maintain caution on the busy regional route, which has seen several similar accidents in recent months.
