However, the party’s chairman, Mojibur Rahman Monju, has refuted these claims, calling them baseless propaganda. In a statement sent to the media at 4:30 AM, Monju clarified that no such arrest had taken place. He also pointed out that since the fall of the ruling Awami government, certain groups—many operating from outside Bangladesh—have been spreading false rumors almost every night.
