Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhtar has called for ramping up vaccination efforts to eradicate Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) and Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) among cattle. Speaking at a meeting in Sirajganj, she stressed the economic risks of these diseases and urged field officials to offer full support to farmers. The initiative aims to ensure healthy cattle during Eid-ul-Adha. Senior officials highlighted the livestock importance of Pabna and Sirajganj and called for increased dedication to achieve disease-free status.
