Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Secretary General Redwan Ahmed warned that no form of mob justice or "mobocracy" should be tolerated in Bangladesh. "Taking the law into one’s own hands is unacceptable," he stated, praising the military for its firm stance against such acts. Redwan stressed that anyone who committed crimes or collaborated with autocratic regimes must be tried through legal processes, not public beatings or extrajudicial killings. Reflecting on the Liberation War, he said, "Even then, we did not harm our enemies’ families or homes."
