Chattogram-4 Member of Parliament Lion Mohammad Aslam Chowdhury has called for an end to the harassment of citizens seeking land-related services. He made the appeal to officials and employees during the inauguration of the Land Service Fair 2026 held on Tuesday morning at the Sitakunda Upazila Land Office premises.

At the fair, citizens received direct information and advice on online land mutation, e-records, digital rent payments, and land development tax services. Aslam Chowdhury emphasized that officials should serve people with patience and good behavior instead of scolding them, noting that respectful service would reduce complaints and increase satisfaction.

The event was organized by the Upazila Land Office and chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Fakhrul Islam. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Abdullah Al Mamun delivered the welcome speech, while several local officials and service recipients attended the program.
