Ziaur Rahman Zia, vice president of the central committee of Jubo Dal, declared that former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina must be brought to justice. He made the statement on Tuesday afternoon during a protest rally held on the Dhaka–Chattogram Highway in Mirsharai, Chattogram. The event was organized by the upazila, municipal, and Baraiyarhat municipal units of Jubo Dal, beginning at the upazila parishad premises and concluding at the Mirsharai Press Club grounds.

The rally was presided over by Sirajul Islam, convener of Jorarganj Thana Jubo Dal, and conducted by S. A. Sumon, coordinator of Mirsharai Thana Jubo Dal. Several central and district-level Jubo Dal leaders, including Ferdous Ahmed Munna, Hasan Muhammad Jasim Uddin, S. M. Murad Chowdhury, and Iftekhar Mahmud Zipson, addressed the gathering. Local BNP leaders were also present.

Following the speeches, participants chanted slogans supporting the central program and protested what they described as conspiracies against the country.
