Seven leaders of the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CHUET) branch of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) have been expelled academically, while twelve others have been expelled from university dormitories. The action follows internal conflicts and allegations of misconduct within the student organization. The university administration has stated that disciplinary measures were necessary to maintain order on campus.
