Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum has traveled to Singapore for medical treatment. She departed late Monday night and is expected to return Wednesday evening, confirmed her personal secretary Dr. Manjurul Islam.

Begum, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, has previously sought medical care in Singapore.
