The Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested three suspected robbers with weapons in the Baliakandi area of Bhola Sadar upazila on Sunday afternoon. The arrests were made with the assistance of local residents while the suspects were allegedly preparing for a robbery. The detainees were identified as Firoz Jamaddar, aged 55, Faisal, aged 25, and Ibrahim, aged 25, all from Daulatkhan upazila.

According to a media release from Coast Guard media officer Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujon, the team recovered one single-barrel gun, three locally made weapons, four rounds of live ammunition, and a boat from the suspects. The official stated that legal action would be taken against the detainees.

The Coast Guard operation highlights continued law enforcement efforts in coastal areas to prevent armed robbery and ensure local security.
