At least 26 Palestinians were killed and over 50 injured in fresh Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip. Among the dead were six members of the same family. In a separate development, Israel has closed six schools for Palestinian refugees in East Jerusalem. Since the onset of renewed Israeli air raids on March 18, nearly 1,400 Palestinians have been killed and over 3,600 injured. The total death toll in Gaza has now surpassed 50,810, with more than 115,688 reported injured as the humanitarian crisis deepens.
