In the Facebook post, Ambassador Christensen described the experience of witnessing the vibrant atmosphere of the cattle market as wonderful, noting that families were preparing for Eid-ul-Azha. He extended his wishes for a joyful and peaceful Eid to everyone. The published images showed him walking through the market with an umbrella, smiling beside cows, and giving a thumbs-up next to a black goat.

The visit highlighted the ambassador’s engagement with local traditions and cultural practices in Bangladesh during one of the country’s most significant religious festivals.
