Chhatra Shibir leader Sadiq Kayem has accused the ruling Awami League of committing judicial killings of Jamaat-e-Islami and opposition leaders under fabricated charges of war crimes. In a statement, he said hundreds of people were killed for protesting politically motivated verdicts. He also alleged widespread persecution, including demolishing homes of Jamaat leaders, extrajudicial executions, abductions, and assaults on women. Referring to the recent release of ATM Azharul Islam, he described it as a sign of divine mercy.
