Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, Nayeb-e-Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, has been unofficially declared elected as Member of Parliament from Cumilla-11 (Chouddagram) constituency. According to results from 124 out of 127 polling centers, he received 133,308 votes under the 'scales' symbol. His nearest rival, BNP candidate Md. Kamrul Huda, secured 76,638 votes, leaving a margin of 56,670 votes between them.

The administration has suspended results from three polling centers—Gunabati High School, Alkara Government Primary School, and Bakgram Government Primary School—following allegations of irregularities. In postal ballots, the 'scales' symbol received 7,316 votes, while the 'sheaf of paddy' symbol got 1,229 votes. Voting took place on Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and was reported by voters to be largely peaceful and festive except for a few isolated incidents.

The Chouddagram constituency has a total of 409,091 registered voters, including 205,110 men, 203,977 women, and four third-gender voters.
