Rifat Rashid, President of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, has announced the suspension of all the organization's committees across Bangladesh, excluding the central committee. Speaking at an emergency press conference, he stated that defeated political forces are misusing the platform to tarnish its image. He urged law enforcement agencies to take legal action against individuals involved in unethical activities. This move comes after allegations of extortion surfaced against Abdur Razzak Riyad, acting convener of the Combined Private Universities unit, following his visit to the residence of a former MP in Gulshan.
