Vice President candidate of the United Student Alliance, Sadiq Kayem, has cast his ballot in the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and hall council elections. Speaking to reporters, Kayem expressed optimism: “Students have accepted us. God willing, we will win.”
He accused the Chhatra Dal of violating the election code of conduct and urged students to place their trust in Shibir. On whether he would accept the results, Kayem said it would depend on the overall situation and how events unfold.
