The Bangladesh People’s Coalition for Rohingya Rights has announced a Rohingya Solidarity March on Monday to mark International Rohingya Genocide Day. The march will begin at Shahbagh at 3 PM and proceed to the Shaheed Minar. Organizers urged global participation, highlighting atrocities including a 2024 drone strike in Rakhine that reportedly killed nearly 200 Rohingya. Organizer Jihadi Ihsan said, “The world’s oppressed Rohingya are being slaughtered behind the curtains of international silence. We are calling for a global march to raise voices for their freedom and rights.”
