The National Citizens' Party (NCP) stressed that reforms and justice must be ensured before any national election. In response to the joint statement from the London meeting between Dr. Muhammad Yunus and BNP’s Tarique Rahman, NCP's Sarwar Tushar said that no future parliament should be tasked with reforms. He emphasized restructuring the Election Commission and enforcing the July Declaration. Discussions on election timing will only be meaningful if key reform milestones are achieved beforehand to ensure a fair process.
