The National Citizens Party (NCP) will hold a major rally in Kaliganj, Gazipur, on Monday to mark the second anniversary of the July mass uprising. The event, part of the party’s July march, will begin at 4 p.m. at the Kaliganj bus stand. NCP convener and opposition chief whip Nahid Islam, who announced the one-point demand during the July uprising, will attend as the chief guest.

Other senior leaders scheduled to attend include NCP member secretary Akhtar Hossain, chief organizers Sarjis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah, National Youth Power president Advocate Tarikul Islam, organizational secretary Rifat Rashid, and joint chief organizer Advocate Ali Naser Khan. Local NCP leaders from Gazipur district and city units, including MM Shoaib, Abdullah Al Muhim, Khondaker Al Amin, and student leader Bashir Ahmed Apu, are also expected to participate.

The gathering aims to commemorate the July Revolution and demonstrate party unity through participation from central, metropolitan, and district-level leaders and affiliated organizations.
