ACC Chairman Dr. Mohammad Moin Uddin admitted that corruption exists within the Anti-Corruption Commission itself, as it is not isolated from society. Speaking at a foundation-laying ceremony in Barisal, he emphasized ongoing efforts to reduce internal corruption since assuming office. He highlighted corruption as a root cause of governmental decline and stressed the need for collective efforts from courts, journalists, and institutions. A new six-story ACC office building, costing around Tk 23 crore, is under construction in Barisal to enhance operations.
