BNP Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has stated that the party fully supports the ongoing reform initiatives, emphasizing the need for peace and stability in the current situation. He also urged for the swift prosecution of those responsible for the repression of the people over the past 15 years. Speaking at a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road, he highlighted that 125,000 politically motivated cases have been filed against BNP leaders and activists, which he described as harassment. The party has also cautioned against the wrongful persecution of innocent individuals in "Operation Devil Hunt."
