Several top leaders from major opposition parties have emerged victorious in key constituencies across Bangladesh in the 13th parliamentary election, according to the latest center-based results. BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman reportedly won both Dhaka-17 and Bogura-6 seats, while Jamaat-e-Islami chief Dr. Shafiqur Rahman secured Dhaka-15. Ganashanghati Andolon’s coordinator Zonayed Saki won in Brahmanbaria-6, and NCP convener Nahid Islam led in Dhaka-11. Gana Odhikar Parishad president Nurul Haque Nur was ahead in Patuakhali-3, and BJP chairman Andalib Rahman Partha won Bhola-1.

The results indicate that most top leaders from the BNP-led alliance and allied parties are either confirmed winners or leading by large margins. Tarique Rahman’s dual-seat victories and other opposition gains suggest a strong performance by the coalition in several strategic constituencies. Party sources confirmed these outcomes as unofficial but decisive in multiple areas.

Further official announcements are awaited as counting continues in some constituencies, but early trends point to a sweeping success for opposition leaders in the ongoing 13th parliamentary election.
