Local elections should not take precedence,” he stated. Manna warned that conducting local government elections first would take at least two years, potentially causing unrest. Expressing deep sorrow over the death of a child in Magura, he condemned the perpetrators and stressed that ensuring safety was the goal of a new Bangladesh.
