Following the July mass uprising, the nation’s expectations from its youth have risen significantly, with hopes that they will take the lead in shaping the future of Bangladesh. Jamaat-e-Islami leader Professor Mia Golam Porwar emphasized that young people will play a pioneering role in building the Bangladesh of tomorrow. “The contribution of the youth to national life is undeniable. History shows that major transformations around the world have been driven by young people,” he said. Porwar stressed the need to create a healthy and supportive environment for the growth of youth potential in order to build a strong and prosperous nation. He urged all branches of Jamaat-e-Islami to observe International Youth Day on August 12 through discussion forums, youth rallies, seminars, symposiums, and various other programs.
