Bangladesh's National Security Advisor Dr. Khaleelur Rahman held a meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday. Discussions covered a range of topics including the Rohingya crisis, ongoing trade negotiations, regional developments in South Asia, and Bangladesh's democratic progress. Landau praised Dr. Muhammad Yunus for his leadership and reiterated continued U.S. support for Bangladesh. Dr. Rahman later also met with Assistant U.S. Trade Representative Brendan Lynch to discuss mutual tariff agreements.
