Iranian Parliament Speaker and chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned that Tehran will suspend its ongoing dialogue with the United States if Israeli aggression and attacks in Lebanon persist. He issued the warning during a phone conversation on Monday with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

Ghalibaf confirmed the statement in a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. In the post, he emphasized that if what he called the crimes of the Zionist regime in Lebanon continue, Iran will not only halt the negotiation process but will also stand firmly against them. He concluded his message by expressing solidarity between the peoples of Iran and Lebanon, calling for the longevity of resistance and homeland defense.

The report, citing Al Jazeera, highlights Iran’s firm stance linking its diplomatic engagement with Washington to developments in Lebanon, underscoring Tehran’s alignment with Beirut amid escalating regional tensions.
