Pakistani courts have sentenced 108 members of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party, PTI, to various prison terms for their involvement in protests against the military in 2023. Among them, 58 individuals—including lawmakers and senior leaders—received 10-year sentences. The rest were sentenced to one to three years. High-profile PTI leaders such as Omar Ayub Khan and Shibli Faraz were among those convicted. PTI has strongly condemned the verdicts.
