‘Sada Dal,’ a nationalist teachers’ organization, has extended financial support to injured Dhaka University (DU) students from the July uprising. The assistance was provided during an Iftar gathering at the Faculty of Science Teachers’ Lounge on Monday. Nine injured students and the families of two martyrs received financial aid. Among them were Fatema, the widow of martyr Kamal Mia, and Mosammat Hayatun Nesa, the mother of martyr Md. Saiful Islam. Speaking at the event, Professor Dr. Morshed Hasan Khan, convener of ‘Sada Dal,’ stated, “We can never fully repay the debt of those who were killed or injured in the July revolution. Their sacrifices freed us from dictatorship, and we will always stand by them.”
