BNP candidate Md. Faridul Kabir Talukder Shamim has been unofficially declared elected from the Sarishabari (Jamalpur-4) parliamentary constituency. According to results from all 88 polling centers, he secured 146,546 votes. His nearest rival, Md. Abdul Awal of Jamaat-e-Islami, supported by the 11-party alliance, received 44,161 votes.

Other candidates included Maulana Ali Akbar Siddique of Islami Andolan Bangladesh with 1,287 votes, Iqbal Hossain of Gano Odhikar Parishad with 379 votes, Kabir Hasan of Nagorik Oikya with 375 votes, and Md. Mahbub Zaman Jewel of CPB with 1,300 votes. The results show a landslide victory for the BNP candidate. Sources reported that Abdul Awal failed to win even in his own polling center.

The total number of registered voters across the 88 centers was 304,992, and the voting process was reported to have been conducted peacefully, according to local sources.
