Two teachers, Professor Dr. Mosharraf Hossain and Professor Dr. Rois Uddin, resigned from the investigation committee formed over an attack on two Jagannath University Management Department faculty by student league activists. Dr. Mosharraf, also the Teachers Association president, stated his conflict of interest as a complainant. The university appointed new members to the committee. Students protested demanding swift justice, boycotting classes and surrounding the Vice-Chancellor’s office with a 24-hour ultimatum against the administration’s handling of the incident.
