The monsoon trough has extended over northern parts of the country and the Bay of Bengal, triggering widespread rainfall. Areas in Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram, and Sylhet may experience very heavy rainfall. Temperatures may slightly drop, and a current mild heatwave in Rangpur may ease. The weather pattern is expected to persist for at least five additional days beyond the initial forecast.
