In Barisal's Pajravanga village, members of the Taltali Farmers' Association helped a widowed farmer harvest her rice. Unable to afford workers and harvesters, Asma Begum was struggling as her rice crops were rotting in the field. The farmer’s husband works in Dhaka, and the association stepped in to help on Sunday afternoon by cutting and gathering the rice free of charge.
