The United States has lost approximately $2 billion worth of military equipment during the first four days of its conflict with Iran, according to estimates compiled by Anadolu. The largest single loss came from an early warning radar at Qatar’s Al-Udeid Air Base, valued at $1.1 billion, which was damaged by an Iranian missile strike on Saturday. In Kuwait, three F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft were destroyed on Sunday in a friendly fire incident involving the Kuwaiti Air Defense Force, with repair costs estimated at $282 million.

Additional damage occurred in Bahrain, where Iran’s attacks destroyed parts of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet headquarters, two satellite communication terminals worth about $20 million, and several buildings. In the United Arab Emirates, a radar component of a deployed anti-ballistic missile system in Al-Ruwais Industrial City was also destroyed, valued at around $500 million. In total, Iran’s strikes have caused about $1.902 billion in US military losses across the Middle East.

Iran launched these attacks beginning Saturday in retaliation for US and Israeli strikes, targeting at least seven American military installations in Bahrain, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, and Iraq’s Erbil base. US diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE were also targeted, though major human casualties were limited.
