Mahfuza (45), a teacher injured in the Milestone fighter jet crash, died at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery at 12:45 pm on Thursday. Doctors confirmed she had sustained burns to 25% of her body. This raises the death toll at the burn unit from the incident to 19, while the overall death toll from the crash now stands at 35, according to the Ministry of Health. Over 150 people were injured in the accident, most of them children. Twenty-three remain hospitalized, while 14 have been discharged.
