Reports suggest that a draft peace deal would require Ukraine to cede the Donbas region, including Donetsk and Luhansk, to Russia—something Kyiv refuses to accept. Putin reiterated that Russia would seize the territory by force if Ukraine does not agree to territorial concessions.
