A man named Mohabbat Ali (55) was killed and four others injured during a violent clash between two BNP factions in Nakobaria area of Kaliganj upazila, Jhenaidah, on Sunday morning. Locals said the dispute stemmed from a power struggle between Nazrul Islam and Arif Hossain. Nazrul, a former Awami League leader who joined BNP after August 5, was reportedly trying to assert dominance in the union, sparking the confrontation.
