He noted past incidents where the public was placed in direct confrontation with police. DMP Additional Commissioner Nazrul Islam stated that no member of Awami League or its affiliated groups, including Chhatra League, may engage in any public or covert political activities. Officers have received clear instructions to arrest any such individuals immediately, with no exceptions.
