The government of Bangladesh has announced an increase in fuel prices for consumers, aligning domestic rates with the global market. The retail price of diesel has been set at 115 taka per liter, up from 100 taka. Octane will now cost 140 taka per liter, rising from 120 taka, while petrol will increase from 116 taka to 135 taka per liter.
