Abdul Kader, President of the Baghchas DU branch, has alleged that former members of Jamaat-e-Islami’s student wing Shibir were involved in secret power-sharing deals after a political shakeup. According to Kader, a former Shibir DU president and the wife of a Shibir leader coordinated these activities, placing ideological allies in key positions. He also claimed they lobbied ministries without informing central figures like Asif, Nahid, or Mahfuz, which later led to internal disputes and betrayal accusations from Sadiq Kayem.
