Preliminary results from a national referendum in Bangladesh show a strong lead for the 'Yes' side, according to data compiled by the Election Commission and local returning officers. As of 2 a.m. on February 13, 2026, 75.34 percent of votes counted were in favor of 'Yes', while 24.66 percent were 'No'. Partial results have been received from several constituencies in Dhaka and other districts.

In Dhaka, partial counts from constituencies including Dhaka-5, Dhaka-6, Dhaka-14, Dhaka-17, and Dhaka-18 show consistent 'Yes' majorities. Outside the capital, Netrokona, Comilla-1, Mymensingh-7, and Mymensingh-11 also reported 'Yes' leads, while Khagrachhari showed a narrow 'No' advantage. The Election Commission confirmed that results were still being collected from remaining centers across 299 parliamentary constituencies.

The report indicates that the 'Yes' vote is ahead nationwide, though full results are pending. The Election Commission is expected to continue releasing updates as more centers report their counts.
