He accused both the previous authoritarian regime and the current caretaker government of stalling the democratic process. He also rejected the Chief Adviser’s claim made in Japan that only one party wants elections in December, asserting that the demand for free and fair elections is shared by all opposition alliances, civil society, and the general public.
