Twelve Rohingyas were detained while attempting to illegally enter Bangladesh through the Latu border in Barlekha, Moulvibazar. Police later escorted them to various refugee camps in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. According to Officer-in-Charge Mahbubur Rahman Molla, the detained individuals were previously residents of the Balukhali and Palongkhali refugee camps. Meanwhile, four Bangladeshi nationals who were also detained were released into the custody of their families.
