BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has been unofficially declared the winner in the Dhaka-17 constituency during Bangladesh’s 13th National Parliamentary Election, according to an announcement made by the party. The information was shared on Thursday night through the party’s verified Facebook page, following the conclusion of vote counting.

Voting for the 13th National Parliamentary Election began at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, across 42,779 polling centers nationwide and continued until 4:30 p.m. Alongside the parliamentary election, a national referendum was also held on the same day. The unofficial results for Dhaka-17 were received in the evening.

The report also mentioned other results, including BNP candidate Jahangir Hossain’s victory in Dhaka-18 and BNP’s Apu winning in Shariatpur-3, while separate allegations and complaints were raised by other parties and candidates during the election process.
