Speaking on the High Court's verdict in the Abrar murder case, he noted that the death sentences of 20 convicts and life imprisonment for five others have been upheld. Four death row convicts remain at large. He asserted that this ruling reinforces the nation’s commitment to justice, despite the strength of fascism.
