The Health Ministry has announced that progress regarding the demands of Medical Assistant Training School (MATS) students will be made within 72 hours. In a press release on February 10, it was revealed that the decision followed a meeting between the Health Ministry and the General MATS Students’ Unity Council. The ministry has begun the process of issuing recruitment notices for family planning and health departments in response to student demands. Additionally, a request has been sent to the Ministry of Public Administration to elevate the position of Sub-Assistant Community Medical Officer to the 10th grade. Other demands are expected to take longer to address.
