Khilafat Majlis Secretary-General Maulana Mamunul Haque has warned that any attempt to rehabilitate the Awami League could lead to another uprising. Speaking at a rally after Friday prayers, he stated that the ruling party must not be allowed to return to politics without facing justice. Expressing anger over the Israeli atrocities in Gaza, he criticized the United Nations, the Arab League, and the OIC for their inaction. He also called on the Bangladeshi government to stand in solidarity with Palestine. Mamunul Haque further condemned the persecution of Muslims in India, alleging that efforts are underway to spill Muslim blood under the guise of celebrations like Holi. He warned that if there is any attempt to desecrate the tomb of Aurangzeb, the people of Bangladesh will not remain silent.
