He assured communication with victims and families of the deceased, and that proper legal action will follow. Complaint boxes will be installed in all police units under his jurisdiction. He also warned against corruption, bribery, and extortion, stating that the police will deal firmly with any threats to public safety from remnants of the previous regime.
