Under the Ministry of Environment, coordinated raids in various parts of Dhaka—including Chawkbazar, Imamganj, and Lalbagh—led to the seizure of 5,500 kg of banned polythene. Shop owners were warned, and mobile courts in Khulna and Sirajganj fined violators Tk 10,000 for illegal production and sale. In Tangail, an illegal lead battery factory was demolished, while air pollution-related fines totaling Tk 30,000 were issued in Dhaka's Agargaon and Ramna areas. The crackdown will continue.
