At a mass iftar event at Chittagong University’s central mosque, the central secretary of Islami Chhatra Shibir stated that the organization does not engage in factionalism or violence. "Shibir organizes iftar programs through the hard work and contributions of its members. These are regular activities for us. Instead of violence, we focus on productive initiatives for students," he said. He added that politics is just one aspect of their mission, which is primarily about instilling morality, knowledge, integrity, and patriotism in students for the welfare of the nation.
