Interim government’s Legal, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Professor Asif Nazrul visited Evercare Hospital in Dhaka at midnight on Friday to inquire about the health condition of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. He was accompanied by his special assistant Monir Haider. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and several party leaders were also present at the hospital. According to BNP’s media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan, Khaleda Zia remains under close observation in the hospital’s CCU under the supervision of a medical board. Earlier, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus expressed concern over her health in a statement and instructed officials to ensure all necessary medical support. He also requested the nation to pray for her speedy recovery.
