Students of Bangabandhu Digital University (BDU) staged a railway blockade in Kaliakair, Gazipur, demanding the institution’s name be changed to “Bangladesh Digital University” instead of “Gazipur Digital University,” as per a recently issued government gazette. The blockade, which began at 9:20 AM on Monday, has disrupted train services between northern Bangladesh and Dhaka.
